Things you couldn't make up, part I

This from Her Majesty's Daily Record:

"Salmond said: “When something is put on the table, people around the table deserve to see it face up, not face down. Give us the detail, where’s the beef, what’s the proposal, give us the timetable?”

Mr Salmond, in case you've forgotten, is the guy who had to be forced into revealing the year he wanted the referendum held.

We're still waiting to hear the actual date he favours.

And this is the man who had the brass neck to demand a timetable from David Cameron.

You could not make it up.

    1. "I'm confused.com"

      Bless.

Your confusion comes from your mistaken belief that there are two sides in this debate, separatist and some homogenous group you've labelled 'unionist'.

The reality is that there are many sides in this debate, in fact the SNP face opposition from right across our society and political spectrum.

    2. Resurrecting AM2's 'pan unionist alliance' are we? - I thought I'd put that sily notion to bed some time ago. The truth is people don't understand why your party agree's on restricting more powers for Scotland along with the Tories but pretends to stand against their other policies. People are watching your party and wondering what it's for in Scotland.

    1. It's not an attack blog, silly. It's a forum to discuss the referendum in an atmosphere of respect and tolerance. Oh yes.

    2. "discuss the referendum" - really? - where is the discussion about devo max? - why are you so afraid of the nats?

This is a blog about the referendum.

That would be the referendum on the SNP's plans for separation.

It never fails to amaze me how reluctant the SNP and its supporters are to discuss separation and how desperate they are to talk about devolution.

Not quite the positive campaign for separation they claimed they'd run and certainly not the actions of an organisation confident about their own case...

    4. Oh dear, your fanatical anti-snp rhetoric rears it's ugly puss again. The referendum consultation considers two questions, why are you afraid to discuss these?

    5. Every single post you've made makes mention of Alec Salmond or the SNP, not one mentions Labour. You seriously need help, you and your party are completely obsessed with the nats. People are pointing and laughing at you, they think your mob are complete rejects.

    6. I think if you think through your last comment you will realise the massive flaw in your argument. Almost every post that you disagree with attracts an instant response, indicating that the obsession is likely yours.

    7. Spacecadetrick, get back tae yer 1st year philosophy class. Meanwhile back in the real world, why won't Alistair Darling shutup about Devo Max, why is always talking about it, why are Scottish Labour so woeful, why are they so so so terribly silent on the future for Scotland?

    8. Quite happy to talk about Scotland but we are waiting till we need to pick up the pieces of the mess that the SNP are making.

How does it feel standing shoulder to shoulder with the Bullingdon boys?

No idea, ask SNP MP Angus Robertson he stood shoulder to shoulder with them to oppose Labour in more than 75% of the votes in the last Parliament.

As you well know, I am no more standing shoulder to shoulder with the Tories than you are standing shoulder to shoulder with Brian Souter and the crypto-fascist bigots of Siol nan Gaidheal.

    1. I hear what your saying but how does it feel to stand shoulder to shoulder with Dave?

    2. I've no idea how it feels to stand shoulder to shoulder with Dave. You really should direct your questions to that nice Mr Angus Robertson. He has plenty experience of that kind of thing.

    4. Johan Lamont reported that she had a successful meeting with David Cameron, she is standing shoulder to shoulder with the Tories to hold back Scotland.

I have observed with not a little distaste your increasingly demented British nationalist ranting in other places. So I am well aware of your penchant for concocting "facts" on the spur of the moment. I'm also aware that that you are very far from being clever enough to be a proficient liar.

As anybody with more than your own tenuous grasp on reality will be aware, the convention adopted by SNP MPs of not voting on non-Scottish matters means that it would be impossible for for Angus Robertson to have voted in anything like 75% of the votes in the last parliament.

And while I fully understand that your unthinking devotion to the British Labour & Unionist Party negates any possibility of you comprehending it, there is nothing whatever inherently wrong with voting against your political masters. Particularly when they are engineering some murderous foreign military adventure.

  5. "HM Daily Record" - I think HM has better taste than that. If she does buy it, it is for cutting up into squares to be used for toilet paper for the Ghillies' outside loos scattered around the Balmoral Estate.

I do believe she does read the P&J though.

"Dave" probably calls the Record (known also as McPravda/Daily Rectum/Retard) "Daily Lefty Jock Prole Feed".

It's always a pleasure to see British nationalist fanatics underestimating Alex Salmond while making the dumbest mistake any propagandist can make - believing their own lies.

Why do you need that information? Have you actually thought about it? Or have you been too mesmerised watching your knees jerking? What non-trivial thing(s) would you be able to do with this information that you can't do just as well without it?
